deposition, most significantly in aged mice. Biochemical evaluation of pTau, including Tau-pS422, in brain extracts showed slightly reduced levels at 8 months of age and significantly reduced levels at older ages. Conclusions: Transgenic expression of a human anti-Ab antibody prevents build-up of amyloid and significantly reduces pTau accumulation in TauPS2APP/huMAB mice. These data strongly suggest that lowering amyloid by anti-Ab immunotherapy also reduces pathological Tau and thus may inhibit pTau related neurodegeneration.
