about 30% in the brain homogenate. When the chemicals were injected into the mouse brain, the most intense signal was detected in TFMB-3Et among three compounds by a single pulse measurement. Also, the chemical shift images(CSI) were clearly observed in TFMB-3Et. When we injected three compounds into a tail vein of APP mice, all compounds were observed in senile plaque. The 19F signal of TFMB-3Et was detected in the brain region of APP transgenic mice. Although the signal noise ratio was relatively high, CSI of TFMB-3Et was observed in the brain. Conclusions: The present result indicates that TFMB-3Et was a candidate derivative for amyloid detection in APP transgenic mice using 19F magnetic resonance imaging.
