when the rember was compared to the placebo group. The 60 mg dose produced the largest effect. Conclusions: Despite this small sample, rember has a measurable affect on glucose uptake in the medial temporal lobes in patients with AD. These findings provide complimentary evidence supporting the efficacy of TAI monotherapy as a disease-modifying treatment for AD. rember efficacy could still be demonstrated with FDG PET in this small group. A significantly larger sample size was required when clinical outcomes were used. These results support the use of molecular brain imaging as surrogate marker for disease modifying efficacy with TAI therapy.
