glucose homeostasis (IPGTT) is observed but this happens only at early stages of the disease when only intraneuronal AB is reported in these animals. Conclusions: These results reinforce the probable contribution of intraneuronal occurrence of AB in the modification of neurophysiological homeostasis. Further studies should be carried out to elucidate the disruption of glucose homeostasis at the appearance of intraneuronal AB and how this relates to the progression of the disease.
