ascertaining the validity of the international model for the distribution of co-morbidities and risk factors of MCI in Romania. The study has been extended to a larger group of patients. Conclusions: The study actively screened for MCI patients admitted in The Day Hospital for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Memory Impairments founded by “Ana Aslan” International Academy of Aging in Romania, using international criteria for diagnostic. This study promoted correct evaluation and treatment of the patients, and is the first descriptive study in East-European countries on MCI. Within the study group, prevalence of co-morbidities such as cardiovascular, psychiatric or metabolic diseases, was evaluated and a model of distribution, adjusted for Romania was made. The study showed that The Day Hospital for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Memory Impairments founded by “Ana Aslan” International Academy of Aging in Romania is able to initiate and manage a larger group study.
