Discriminant-analysis shows that CSI-D predicts 85% of the cases correctly, the CSID-INF 81%. Conclusions: The Dutch translation of the Suriname adaptation of the CSI-D has shown to be a reliable and valid instrument and will be useful in the screening for dementia in Suriname. The instrument shall be used to further develop norms for clinical and epidemiological use.
