prevented B[a]P-induced intracellular increase in Ca2+ both in C6 and Neuro2a. Conclusion: B[a]P inhibited learning and memory possibly by increasing NR1and NR2B-receptors. NA appears to have a protective role, possibly by inhibiting intracellular Ca2+-level. Acute and chronic effects of NA may differ and may be of clinical significance, which need to be studied.
