rats at PND15 and 120 compared to MS15 and control groups (MS0). However, there were no significant differences in DNMT1 and DNMT3a mRNA levels of MS15 separated animals compared to MS180 and MS0 groups at PND 15. Second, we evaluated marker genes PP1c and GR promoter area methylation patterns and transcriptional activity on PND15 and 120. We found that MS15 and MS180 are associated with DNA hypermethylation and transcriptional downregulation of the PP1c gene and demethylation and transcriptional activation of GR gene in NAc compared to control group. Further, we have a plan to correlate MS-induced epigenetic modification with addiction related behavior. Support: ETF 7585
