Background: The stem bark of Morus alba L. (Moraceae) is used as vermifuge and purgative in Indian traditional system of medicine. M. alba has good nutritional profile with proteins, phenolics, flavonoids and anthocyanins. Current study was designed for isolation and structure elucidation of new phytoconstituents from the stem bark of M. alba.Methods: The methanol extract of stem bark of M. alba was obtained by continuous hot extraction process. Isolation of phytoconstituents was done by silica gel column chromatography. Analytical thin layer chromatography was used to check the homogeneity of eluted fractions. The structure of isolated phytoconstituents was established on the basis of spectroscopic methods and chemical reactions.Results: Phytochemical investigation of methanol extract led to the isolation of a new fatty acid glycoside characterized as 1′-n-octadec-9,12-dienoyl-2′-(n-octadec-9‴-enoyl)-β-D-glucofuranosyl-(6′→1″)-(2″-n-hexadecanoyl)-β-D-glucurofuranoside (1), and two flavone derivatives formulated as 5,4′-dihydroxy-7-octadec-9-enoxy-8-(γ-methylallyl)-2′,3′-(2‴,3‴-dimethylpyr-1‴-enyl) flavone (2) and 5,7,4′-trihydroxy-8-(γ-methylallyl)-2′,3′-(2‴, 3‴-dimethylpyr-1‴-enyl) flavone (3).Conclusion: The present work reports the isolation and characterization of new phytoconstituents which could be used as chromatographic fingerprinting markers for standardization and quality control parameters
