RNAs are best known as basic modules for global regulation of protein synthesis. Goodarzi et al. now show that two tRNAs upregulated in metastatic breast cancer cells enhance stability and translation of transcripts enriched with these codons, leading to specific increase in production of pro-metastatic proteins.
