ResumenSe presentan algunas de las ideas principales que desarrolló Carlos Pereyra en torno a problemas de la política, el Estado y la sociedad civil. Se traza un seguimiento de la obra de Pereyra a propósito de estas nociones, ubicándolas en el contexto de la recepción de la obra de Antonio Gramsci. Igualmente, se presentan las principales ideas del filósofo a propósito del Estado mexicano en el contexto de la coyuntura política de los años setenta. El texto busca ubicar el hilo de continuidad de la obra de Pereyra en la teoría política marxista.AbstractIn this paper we present some of the main ideas developed by Carlos Pereyra around the subjects of politics, the State and civil society. We review his reflections on this notions, placing them in the context of the reception of the intellectual legacy of Antonio Gramsci. Also, we expose the main ideas of Pereyra in the context of the Mexican State during the political conjuncture of the seveties. Our purpose is to locate the thread of continuity between Pereyra's thought and Marxist political theory
