Monoclonal antibodies 01 through 011 recognize differentiation staqespecific cell surface antigens of oliqodendrocytes. The developmental appearance of the antigens and their differential expression in the central and peripheral nervous system of normal and myelin deficient mutant mice and rats will be described. It will be shown that differentiation of oliqodendrocytes in vitro can be influenced by other neural cell types.
