Eight choriocarcinoma cell lines (6:gestational origin, 2:non‐gestational origin) were studied by a radioimmune inhibition test using monoclonal antibodies for the expression of HLA class I and class II antigens. Levels of HLA class I antigens were very slight or nil. On the other hand, no HLA class II antigen was detected in any choriocarcinoma cell lines examined.
