Importance of ultrasonography in the follow‐up of patients treated for ovarian carcinoma

The importance of serial ultrasonography was studied in 28 patients with histologically verified ovarian tumors. The patients were receiving combined cytostatic treatment. By graphic illustration of tumor volume, sonography can be of help in the treatment and follow‐up of patients, as well as in the choice of appropriate therapy.
