Secretion of blood group specific substances in saliva of 380 patients with carcinoma of the cervix was studied, along with age‐matched controls. The study shows that carcinoma of the uterine cervix is much more common in non‐secretors (55.0%) than in secretors (45.0%). Statistically, this difference was found to be highly significant (P < 0.001).
