Bacitracin synthetase is an enzyme complex [ 1,2] composed of three complementary fractions called A, B and C [3] (see fig.1). F’hosphopantetheine which is covalently bound to the fractions [2,3,.5] is probably involved in the biosynthesis of bacitracin.
