The analysis of nonionic surfactants was investigated by reversed‐phase liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry detection. On a C 18 column, separation was achieved on the basis of chain lengths of both alkyl and ethoxy groups in a CH 3 CN/CH 3 OH/H 2 O/HAc solvent system. Peaks were identified by electrospray mass spectrometry.
