Tumors of the Parapharyngeal space are rare lesions. The present paper briefly discuss the pre-operative evaluation and surgical approach used in 4 patients. A C.T. Scan is extremely useful adjunct in pre-operative diagnosis and allowed us to ascertain the location, size, vascularity and relation of tumors to the surrounding anatomical structures with differentiation of parotid and extra parotid tumor. Imaging techniques established the site of origin with 96% accuracy (Richardo L Carrau, Myers, 1990), which is essential in planning surgical approach and predict prognosis.
