Abstract The high and low molecular weight components of heated fats have been separated with gel permeation chromatography. With Sephadex LH‐20, as well as with Biobeads SX‐1, the high molecular weight components of heated fats may be directly separated when chloroform, acetone, chloroform‐methanol or tetrahydrofuran are employed as swelling agents and eluting solvents.
