A chromatographic method is described for the separation of aflatoxins on silica gel coated glass cylinders prepared with a chloroformacetone slurry. This can be done in 35–40 min compared with more than 2 hr for thin layer chromatography (TLC). This method is more rapid, economical and its sensitivity is comparable to TLC.
