Ethoxylated n‐dodecanol, containing an average 4.2 moles of ethylene oxide, was separated into 13 members of a series of dodecyoxypoly (ethoxy) ethanols using a 200 tube counter current distribution apparatus. Purity of each homologue was checked by thin layer chromatography, and its distribution constant, mp and refractive index were determined.
