Fatty acid composition of seed oil from 14 species of the genus Lesquerella has been determined by gas‐liquid chromatography. All but two species contain hydroxyeicosenoie acid in amounts ranging from 45 to 74%. The remaining two species contain about 50% C 18 hydroxy acids, but none of the C 20 hydroxy acid.
