Abstract The term “quality” includes not only intrinsic properties but also concepts such as availability, service, packaging, price level, price stability, delivery time and transport logistics. This paper discusses this definition as it relates to the oleochemical markets for commodity chemicals, specification chemicals and performance chemicals.
