Summary An acetoglyceride type of spread having a wide plastic range has been developed, utilizing hydrogenated edible tallow for the hard component and acetoglycerides made from hydrogenated soybean oil for the liquid component of the spread. The product had good spreadability over a wide temperature range and good acceptability.
