[3α‐ 3 H]‐Cholest‐8(14)‐en‐3β‐ol was incubated with a 10,000 x g supernatant fraction of a rat liver homogenate. The enzymatic formation of labeled cholesta‐8, 14‐dien‐3β‐ol was indicated by the results of studies employing column chromatographic and cocrystallization techniques.
