Summary The N ‐oligosaccharyltransferase activity was found to be normal in fibroblasts from five patients with the carbohydrate‐deficient glycoprotein syndrome type I and type III using an assay based on dolichyldiphosphoryl‐ N ‐ N ′‐diacetylchitobiose as donor and a hexapeptide as acceptor substrate.
