An evaluation of statistical interpretation(SI) forecast skill for rainfall and maximum/minimum temperature during monsoon season (June–September) is presented. A brief description of the methodology used for SI forecast and data used is also given. The skill of SI forecast is calculated during 1999, monsoon and has been found encouraging.
