In this paper, primarily with the aid of analytic continuation, we derive analytic solutions for Eshelby's problem of a parabolic inclusion undergoing uniform anti‐plane and in‐plane eigenstrains located in one of two well‐bonded dissimilar elastic half‐planes. We obtain elementary expressions of the analytic functions defined in all three phases characterizing the elastic fields representing displacements, strains and stresses in the composite.
