The gasdynamic state of a plug of gas which was exhausted through a valve opened for a short time interval is quite inhomogeneous. In this paper a computational method based upon a onedimensional model is revived, and the complicated structure of the plug demonstrated in a realistic example. Der gasdynamische Zustand eines durch ein kurzzeitig geöffnetes Ventil entwichenen Gaspfropfens ist ganz uneinheitlich. Die vorgelegte Arbeit berechnet diesen Zustand auf der Basis des bekannten eindimensionalen Modells und zeigt ein realistisches Beispiel.
