The elastic fields produced by discrete dislocations in an infinitely extended isotropic micropolar continuum are calculated from the author's theory (cf. [1]). The expressions for the stress and couple‐stress fields produced by circular dislocations are derived. They are specialized to those for the fields produced by infinitesimal loops. For loops of finite radii, numerical estimations are carried out to investigate the stress and couple‐stress fields in the close vicinity of those loops. The results are plotted on the figures.
