Let T 1 and T 2 be strictly contractive operators whose Lipschitz constants satisfy the relation x 1 + x 2 < 1. The aim of the paper is to give conditions under which there exist iteration procedures whose speed of convergence is higher than that one of the usual procedure (*) x n = T 1 x n‐1 + T 2 x n‐1 and whose complexity (expense of computer time) is less than that one of (*).
