The combination resonance of a nonlinear vibrating system exited parametrically by narrow‐band random forces is investigated. The application of the integral equation method leads to approximative formulae for the probability densities of the two response amplitudes. The results are evaluated numerically in dependence of the linear and nonlinear damping.
