With the aid of elementary matrix operations, simple representations are obtained for the equations governing the slow, steady motion of micropolar fluids. These representations lead to the construction of the fundamental solutions for a concentrated force as well as a concentrated couple in both a planar domain and three dimensional space. The basic solutions and the reciprocity theorem yield integral representations for the velocity and rotation vectors.
