In a preceding paper the author dealt with the bending moments in a uniformly loaded flat slab supported by columns with circular sections. In this paper the shearing forces in the flat slab, its deflection and the slopes of the deflection surface are expressed by the functions which are deduced from the Theta functions. The case in‐which the flat slab is subjected to the moments produced by the restraining effect of the supporting columns during an earthquake is also discussed.
