Formulas are given for the complex amplitude densities of reflected flexural and torsional waves in the infinite bar, due to an elastic support of finite length, in terms of the complex amplitude densities of the incident waves. It is proved that the series obtained by the perturbation method for calculation of the amplitude densities converges provided that the incident waves have frequencies restricted to a fixed finite band and that the coefficients of rigidity of the elastic support are sufficiently small in magnitude.
