A method is presented in order to find the aerodynamic forces acting on a delta‐wing with supersonic leading edges in supersonic flow. The basic postulations of the method consist of the determination of the solution for a steady supersonic flow passing a delta‐wing of arbitrary warping and chamber geometry. The solution for the steady flow for the flat lifting wing appears as a special case of this study. A functional relation between steady and unsteady solution is obtained using the transform techniques of operational calculus. The solution for the unsteady supersonic flow is presented in the closed integral form, in which the integrand contains the solution of the steady flow, and no difficulties of a pragmatical nature arise. The method can be extended without any difficulty to the wings of other shapes, in either symmetrical or yawed flow.
