The cover picture shows the visible light irradiation of ZnCr 2 O 4 nanoparticles which can be used for efficient degradation of organic molecules in waste water into small and harmless degradation products like CO 2 , H 2 O, etc. Unfortunately, a chromate release is observed generating even more dangerous waste water. This makes nanosized ZnCr 2 O 4 useless for environmental friendly photo catalysis. Details are discussed in the article by Michael Poschmann, Ulrich Schürmann, Wolfgang Bensch and Lorenz Kienle on page 564 ff .
