Two uranyl aqua sulfate compounds: [(CH 3 ) 3 NCH 2 COOH] [UO 2 (Cl)(SO 4 )(H 2 O)] ( 1 ) and UO 2 ((CH 3 ) 3 NCH 2 COO)(SO 4 )(H 2 O) ( 2 ) were synthesized and their crystal structures were determined. The morphology changes between the two‐dimensional anionic structural unit of 1 and the neutral structural unit of 2 are examined, and the impact of their terminally coordinating ligands discussed.
