The Cover Feature highlights the unique structural features of mixed valent Cs 23 [MnO 2 ] 4 [Mn 3 O 5 ] 4 . Its discovery along the azide/nitrate route underpins the particular strength of this approach in exploring even subtleties of the rich landscapes of alkalioxometalates. The crystal structure comprises two different kinds of 1 D polyoxoanions, where the one resulting from catenation of cluster‐like blocs of six edge sharing tetrahedra is without perecedent. These specific structural properties give rise to a series of partly competing magnetic exchange couplings of pronouncedly varying strength. Details are discussed in the article by Jansen et al. on page 1351 ff .
