Alkane elimination reactions of the tethered bis(urea) proligand 1,4‐( t BuNHCONH) 2 ‐C 4 H 8 ( 1 ) with Zn R 2 ( R = Me, Et, n Pr) yielded trimetallic zinc complexes [ R Zn‐1,4‐( t BuNHCON) 2 ‐C 4 H 8 ] 2 Zn [ R = Me ( 2 ), Et ( 3 ), and n Pr ( 4 )]. 2 – 4 were characterized by heteronuclear NMR ( 1 H, 13 C) and IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction.
