The cover picture shows the course of the new synthesis process of the solvothermal reaction applying cystamine dihydrochloride as new sulfur source yielding the new compound [La(dien) 3 ] 2 [Sn 2 S 6 ]Cl 2 (dien = diethylenetriamine). The synthesis and the characterization of the different formation steps are shown here: in the artwork the complexity of solvothermal reactions is schematically shown as clockwise «whirl» starting from bottom right to top right. In angular shaped drawings, the reactants, intermediate, process and reaction product are highlighted. Starting with La(OH) 3 , SnCl 2 ·2H 2 O, cystamine dihydrochloride in diethylenetriamine, the S‐S bond of the cystamine molecule is cleaved and S 2– anions are generated.
