The cover picture shows a pseudo‐layer in the structure of Na 4 Cd 7 (AsO 3 ) 6 . Na atoms (in magenta) are positioned in the hexagonal channels formed by (Cd,Na)O 4 deformed tetrahedra (in blue) and AsO 3 pyramids (in yellow). In the background, the SEM images of the idiomorphic crystals of Na 4 Cd 7 (AsO 3 ) 6 can be seen. The crystal structure of Na 4 Cd 7 (AsO 3 ) 6 was solved from the single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction data. It adopts a new structure type (space group R $\bar {3}$ , a = 9.5229(13), c = 19.258(4) Å, γ = 120°, V = 1512.5(5) Å 3 , Z = 3). The As‐atoms are arranged in monomeric (AsO 3 ) 3– units. Sodium atoms show trigonal antiprismatic coordination, and two mixed Cd/Na sites show tetrahedral and octahedral coordinations. The pseudo‐layers at z = 0, 1/3, 2/3 presented in the cover picture are interconnected to the 3D‐network by (Cd,Na)O 6 octahedra. More details are discussed in the article by T. Đorđević on p. 1863ff.
