The cover picture shows three different examples of polyphosphides that can be synthesized by reaction of red phosphorus and d 10 metals (middle of the picture) using the short‐way transport based mineralizer concept. The three examples differ in the dimension of their anionic phosphorus substructure. Starting from 0‐dimensional isolated cages over various 1‐dimensional strand geometries to 2‐dimensional phosphorus layers, a plethora of different phosphorus substructures are possible. In the background of each part of the picture, the corresponding mineralizer additive is displayed, which is necessary to synthesize the stated compounds. In the research report of M. Bawohl and T. Nilges on pages 304ff. the chemistry of phosphorus rich d 10 ion polyphosphides is presented dealing with synthesis concepts, structural features and selected physical properties of this fascinating class of materials.
