Abstract The reactions of 2‐iminopyrroles 1 – 3 with Fe(PMe 3 ) 4 afforded the N–H activated bis(2‐iminopyrrolyl) iron(II) complexes 4 – 6 . The structures of compounds 4 – 6 were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The formation mechanism of complexes 4 – 6 was discussed.
