The cover picture shows an overview of the crystal structure of the Iron(III) Oxotellurate(IV) Phosphate Oxide Chloride Fe 11 (TeO 3 ) 2 (TeO 4 ) 3 (PO 4 ) 2 O 4 Cl 3 along [001]. The compound was synthesized in sealed evacuated silica tubes and crystallizes in the centrosymmetric space group C 2/c [ Z = 4, a = 20.5816(5) Å, b = 26.7506(6) Å, c = 5.03910(10) Å and β = 93.587(2) o ]. The crystal structure is constructed from isolated tellurium oxide and phosphate building blocks that connect to a complex iron oxide / iron oxohalide framework. The Te 4+ atoms exhibit an asymmetric one‐sided coordination environment due to the stereochemically active lone‐pair. The halide ions and the lone‐pairs are found to protrude into small channels as can be seen in the middle of the picture.More details are discussed in the article by Zimmermann et al. on page 2435ff.
