K 2 S 6 was prepared in high purity and the crystal structure solved from X‐ray powder data. K 2 S 6 represents the most sulfur rich compound in the K‐S‐phase diagram. The dominating species in the crystal structure are six membered sulfur chains in an all‐trans arrangement.
