Two new hybrid inorganic‐organic compounds with different chain/layer structures, [Ag(bipy)] n · n (Hdpa) · n (DMF) · n (H 2 O) ( 1 ) and [Ag(dpa) 0.5 (bix) 0.5 ] n ( 2 ) [H 2 dpa = diphenic acid, bipy = 4, 4′‐bipyridine, bix = 4, 4′‐bis(imidazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene, DMF = N , N ′‐dimethylformamide] were successfully synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and powder X‐ray diffraction. Single X‐ray analysis reveals that compound 1 is a one‐dimensional (1D) supramolecular double chain structure constructed by the combination of coordination bonds, hydrogen bonds, weak Ag ··· O and argentophilic interactions, compound 2 is a two‐dimensional (2D) undulated layer structure constructed by coordination bonds, weak Ag ··· O and argentophilic interactions. Moreover, the photoluminescent properties of the two compounds were also investigated in the solid state at room temperature.
