A novel protonated cage (H 2 O) 19 cluster was observed as guest in the compound K 3 H[SiW 12 O 40 ] · 19H 2 O ( 1 ). The dodecatungstosilicates are linked into a three‐dimensional (3D) host framework by potassium cations. The cage (H 2 O) 19 cluster with O h symmetry is confined to the cavities of the host framework, and their growing and repetitive arrangement leads to the construction of a 3D water network. The removal/re‐adsorption of water molecules and the stability of the host frameworks were confirmed by IR spectroscopy, TGA/DTA and XRPD.
