A new coordination polymer [Co(Htci)(bpe) 0.5 ] · H 2 O ( 1 ) [bpe = 1, 2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)ethylene, H 3 tci = tris(2‐carboxyethyl)isocyanurate] was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, which reveals that 1 is a 3D pillar‐layered structure.
