A report of the facile separation of C 2 ‐C 82 (3) fullerene is given, which has resulted in the isolation of isomerically pure C 82 (3) on a preparative scale, avoiding time consuming recycling procedures. By single‐crystal X‐ray analysis of C 82 (3)·Ni(OEP) (Nickel octaethylporphyrine) the first crystal structure containing pristine C 82 (3) has been revealed.
